Winter Book Haul

Hello, book lovers! How are you doing today?
It’s been a while since I last did my bookhaul post – WordPress says it was November – so I’ll fill you all in on what books I bought in the last two months.

Without further ado, let’s take a look 🙂

Physical books

Surprisingly enough, in the last two months, I’ve only bought 3 physical books. I still prefer physical books to e-books in general, but I must have been tightening my belt back then because I actually went on an audiobook extravaganza which I’m coming to in a few minutes… lol

e-books

I no longer remember why I bought these books except for Far From the TreeAnnie@Zoelogist raved about this book in her post, and I thought I had to read it. Although I haven’t gotten around to reading it, but I want to very soon!

Audiobooks

As you can see, I bought as many as 8 audiobooks in two months. I wasn’t even planning to buy them to begin with, but U.S. Audible is now holding a DAILY DEALS sale until Jan. 28th and you can get many great audibooks (including some best sellers!!!) at an incredibly reasonable price! Other than Flowers for Algernon and Commonwealth, I bought them all at the Daily Deals Sale… It was actually the worst timing ever for me, (I was trying to rein in my book buying) but I ended up buying them all thinking, “Now or Never!!” lol

That’s it for today.
What books have you got lately?
Let me know in the comments and I’ll talk to you all again soon 🙂

  1. Really awesome haul, Noriko! Audible has some great deals and it’s hard to resist because audiobooks can be expensive! I still need to read a lot of these, although I did read A Gentleman in Moscow, but had issues getting into it. I also own When We Were Sisters but haven’t read it yet, lol. Lots of beautiful books to read and hope you enjoy them all. ❤💖❤

          1. Yes, it is! It reminded me of Liane Moriarty’s work, but I honestly liked Moriarty’s better… Commonwealth took me a while to really get into, I couldn’t connect with the characters in the beginning

      1. I meant The Family Next Door. That’s what happens when you read on a Kindle and haven’t seen the cover page in a while. 🤦🏽‍♀️

I’m about 70% done and so far I’m LOVING it!! I hope it keeps up. 🙂
