WWW Wednesday: July 26th, 2017

Hello, friends! It’s time for another WWW Wednesday!

WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam@Taking on a World of Words.
To participate, just answer the three questions below and link back to her or put the link to your post in the comment section of her blog so that others can look at your answers!

The Three Ws are:

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

In my last week’s post, I mentioned that I was going to pick up Girl in Snow by Danya Kukafka, but a change of plan – I decided to focus on this epic book until I finish this book because I started feeling this book deserves my undivided attention and I need to finish this NOT out of a sense of obligation But due to my pure desire to see how the story unfolds and how all the characters end up in the end, and most importantly, how Ken Follett wraps up this grand, magnificent story. I’m at 76% of the book right now and loving how some of the characters are adrift in the sea of fate, feeling powerless. I probably won’t be able to make it by the end of this month, but I’ll focus on this book anyway 🙂
(I know I’ve been gushing about this book way too much, but being a slow reader, I can’t help it! Hehe)

I enjoyed both of them and I don’t think I have to tell you how much I cried over Me Before You – I gushed about it way too much. Yep, TISSUE ALERT, everyone.
You can read my thoughts here (Me Before You) and here (The Red Notebook).
Okay, let’s move on.

If I managed to finish The Pillars of the Earth miraculously by next week, then I think I’ll pick up Girl in Snow which I received from NetGalley. That’s my plan for the moment.

That’s it for today.
What are the books that you’re currently reading?
Have you finished any books recently? What books are you planning to read next?
Let me know in the comments below so that we can have some fun chatting about books!

Thank you so much for reading as always and I’ll see you all in my next post! 😉

    1. Thanks, Kathy for commenting! I feel you for not being able to make up your mind on what to read next! It’s sort of a chronic problem, isn’t it? lol

    1. I know! You recently finished and wrote a review on it, didn’t you?
I didn’t even know you were reading the same book at all… what a coincidence!! 😀

        1. That sounds interesting!! By the way, did you know that Goodreads has a page called ‘compare books’? If you have added books to TBR or rated books, you can compare your books with your friends’ and see how many books you have in common!

      1. Oh, I started it days ago,so it was just one to finish! I’m trying to finish all my ARC books by next week so I don’t have to worry about reading them once classes start. Then I’m not sure when I’d have time. I finished up 4 books between yesterday and today lol.

        1. My goodness, reading 4 books in TWO DAYS?! Wish I were as fast a reader as you are! I have two ARCs from NetGalley, so I’m planning on reading them once I’ve finished the Pillars!

          1. I didn’t read them all in 2 days from start to finish, sorry! I read 2 from start to finish in 2 days but 1 was a novella. I started one book last night at about 2 am and stayed up until 530am until I was done with it. The other 3, it was 5 total..I can’t count lol, I’d been reading on and off since the 7/17for one, 7/22 for another, and 7/24 for the 3rd. I usually am reading 3 to 6 books at a time because I like to read what catches my mood at the moment in time, lol.

                1. I see! I think it’s only natural that you can only handle one book once you start classes. I’m working full time and sometimes have to do a lot of overtime work, then I can barely read one book a day. There’s not enough time to handle two books.

                  1. Sometimes I can handle 0 books, lol! You will see me reading the same book for a week or two at times. It gets so frustrating, but I have no choice. I’ve actually cried before about not being able to read. my husband laughs but he just doesn’t get it. It would be like my taking away his PlayStation, lol I can see there not being time for 2 books if you are working that much….too bad we couldn’t read for a living 🙂
